Undocumented History

Undocumented Histories is a site specific installation that reimagines the stories of past residents from a West Michigan urban neighborhood. The work consists almost solely of remnants found in the neighborhood's abandoned buildings. Recontextualized, these remnants present a fragmented narrative that straddles fact and fiction, past and present, and ultimately challenges viewers to question their own nostalgic desires.
