Dislocated Æffects
is an homage to life’s ephemerality. A collection of objects I’ve amassed over the years, the work examines our desires to arrest time and hold onto the things that elude us. Dead flowers, human hair, ashes and discarded possession – common symbols of nostalgic longing – portray our futile efforts to remember and preserve that which deteriorates with the passage of time.
